About Reissmann, Guardiani & Related Families
Please sign in to see more.

A big THANK YOU to both Annely Reissmann Thompson & Marianne Humphrey Barbour. They have gone the extra mile to help add family names and information to this site. This web page is in honor of my friend, Diane Humphrey Gordon, and her related families. I am enjoying researching these unique family roots and am learing a lot tracing the German & Italian bloodlines. I am still in process of gathering information and "proving" certain information, so, please check back often as I am adding information on a daily basis. I welcome feedback, especially if you see errors OR if you have additional information on names, dates or family stories. PLEASE SIGN THE GUEST BOOK (see above) and leave your email address, phone number, and any additions, questions, deletions, etc., here. This way, I would have your contact information and would be able to communicate with you. One of the areas I especially need help in, is gathering maiden names for the wives. Sometimes, the maiden names are forgotten and wind up getting lost forever. The maiden names are important in order to follow the lineage for the maternal sides of the families. To get an overview start with the descendants of:

Note regarding adoption: Genealogy follows blood lines and usually adopted children should not be "connected" to their adopting parents, but to their biological parents. Therefore, for genealogy purposes, this is how this web page has been set up. DON'T FORGET TO SIGN THE GUEST BOOK ! Site Meter Contact Nancie with additional information.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
